The Onion's American voices is a series that features fake on-the-street interviews with people about real-life events.
The series will feature photos of people along with a fake name, quote, and occupation. Some of the photos are consistently recycled in the series, with some appearing up to 4,000 times across different articles, while others only appear once or twice.
We wanted to visualize trends in photo apperances with an easy to use and understand interactive visualization. Enjoy!
